چکیده
The shape of the leaf is primary phenotype which determines commercial value mustard (Brassica juncea). However, there arefew reports on lobed-leaf gene B. juncea, and molecular regulatory mechanisms underlying margin formation are unknown. In this study, an F2 population derived from ‘MN001’ ‘MU056’ was constructed. Genetic analysis revealed that trait controlled by a major gene, lobed leavesare dominant compared to round leaves. GradedPool-Seq combined with re-sequencing results parents identified interval chromosome 10 juncea’s genome A. BjLMI1 (BjuA040054) confirmed be candidate ontology (GO) analysis, it homologous LMI1 encodes HD-Zip protein ATHB-51. A base substitution observed in conserved domain, 63 bp fragment deletion found exon region between two CDs region. expression significantly higher parent than round-leaf parent. These findings provide insights into mechanism will valuable development ideal juncea.

Role of Murraya koenigii (curry leaf) and Brassica juncea (Mustard) in lipid peroxidation.
The status of lipid peroxidation was investigated in rats fed M. Koenigii (curry leaf) and B. juncea (Mustard). Concentration of malondialdehyde showed a significant decrease, while hydroperoxides and conjugated dienes were significantly increased in liver and heart of both the experimental groups. SOD and catalase activity was found to be increased in liver and heart of both the spices adminis...

15 صفحه اولThe self-incompatibility phenotype in brassica is altered by the transformation of a mutant S locus receptor kinase
The self-incompatible (SI) Brassica napus line W1, which carries the 910 S allele, was transformed with an inactive copy of the 910 S locus receptor kinase (SRK) gene. Two transformed lines were analyzed based on their heritable ability to set self-seed. The first line was virtually completely self-compatible (SC), and reciprocal pollinations with the original W1 line demonstrated that only the...
